Day One. Embracing the magic.

As I buzz around my home, preparing for my first Storytime Hour at a local library tomorrow morning, I now feel the momentum for which I've been anxious. It won't just be me reading my book, but the kids will do a craft relating to the metaphor of the mask in "Don't Be Funny, Bunny!", but we'll sing a song about being brave and facing one's fears, too! My life journey has been a varied one. Of all the great things I've been fortunate enough to experience, working with and teaching kids has been some of my very favorite memories. I didn't want to JUST write children's books (there are 4 more written for this series waiting to be brought to life), I want to interact with, read directly to, and share with families the joy that comes from this type of creative connection.
